Information & Prices
           (This page is under construction.)
The Alaskan Malamute and Samoyed are extremely great with children.  The Siberian/Malamute and Siberian Husky are also fine pets.  We have 4 children (teenagers and young adults) who still live at home, and with all of these children, our puppies are well socialized before they leave us to go to their new home.

Genetic Health Program:  As time permits, we will have here on this page as soon as we can get this done, more complete information on the genetic health program that we have for the 4 breeds that we sell (AKC purebred Alaskan Malamute, AKC purebred Samoyed, AKC purebred Siberian Husky, and Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute). This genetic health program includes OFA certification for hips, elbows, and eyes.  It also includes certification for our foundation AKC purebred Alaskan Malamutes lines, as well as every new AKC purebred Alaskan Malamute line that we obtain, for PN (Polyneuropathy) and CD (Cone Degeneration/Day Blindness).

The Weight and Size Myth for the AKC purebred Alaskan Malamute:
The AKC standard for a purebred Siberian Husky female is 20 to 22 inches at the shoulders and 35 to 50 pounds, and 21 to 23 1/2 inches and 45 to 60 pounds for a male. The AKC standard for a purebred Alaskan Malamute female is 23 inches at the shoulders and 75 pounds, and 25 inches and 85 pounds for a male. Our AKC purebred Alaskan Malamute female puppies will be approximately 90-150 pounds when fully grown at around 4 years old, and our AKC purebred Alaskan Malamute males will be around 100 to 155 pounds when fully grown at 4 years old (this is a trim weight and not being overweight like many house dogs are).  A Giant purebred Alaskan Malamute is a female who is 90 lbs. or more and a male who is 100 lbs. or more when fully grown at around 4 years old (trim weight).  The only true Giant Alaskan Malamute, however, is one that the breeder can show vet scale weight proof right from their vet.  There likely are very few Alaskan Malamutes in the world over 160 lbs.  Many breeders say that their Alaskan Malamutes are 160-200+ lbs, but they have no vet scale proof to back up their claim.  Other breeders will advertise on their website what they will say is a vet scale weight, but they add many pounds to the true vet scale weight making their Malamutes look heavier and larger than they really are.  We personally know of many Malamute breeders who say that the weight our their Alaskan Malamutes is higher than it truly is to help sell their puppies.  The proof will be in the true vet scale weights of the offspring.  ALL we Giant Alaskan Malamute breeders in the U.S. all have Alaskan Malamutes from the same lines as each other.  All of our dogs' weights are TRUE vet scale weights with NO added pounds.  We have some of the tallest and largest GIANT Alaskan Malamutes the US!!
Pricing/Deposit/Payment:  Our puppies are usually $695-$2950.  All of our puppies are sold with limited registration, meaning, no breeding rights.  We accept a $300 deposit on all puppies who are up to $700; a $400 deposit on all puppies who are over $700 up to $995; a $500 deposit on all puppies who are $1000-$1195; a $600 deposit on all puppies who are $1200-$1395; a $700 deposit on all puppies who are $1400-$1595; an $800 deposit on all puppies who are $1600-$1895; a $900 deposit on all puppies who are $1900-$2050, and a $1,000 deposit for all puppies who are $2100 and up.  All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.  All payments of any type are also NON-REFUNDABLE after we receive them.  Anyone who gives us a deposit to hold a puppy before it is ready to go will make their choice of an individual puppy at 3 weeks of age or older.  Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age or older.       We Care About Our Puppy And Adult Dog Buyers And Therefore Give Proper Guarantees:  All of our puppies and available adult dogs, whether AKC or a mix, will have shots, will be wormed and on a continued worming schedule, and will be up-to-date on a heartworm preventative before going to their new homes.  Some older puppies, young adults, and adults are spayed/neutered before leaving us.  There is also a written and signed 3 year genetic guarantee given to each buyer that is valid after they fulfill our policies; click here to read it. We also have a written and signed 45 day guarantee for the general health of all of our puppies given to each buyer that is valid after they fulfill our policies; click here to read it.
Most breeders do not give a written guarantee for the general health of their puppies, and if they do, it is only a 48-72 HOUR guarantee.  Most Alaskan Malamute breeders only give a 1 year genetic guarantee. Some give a 2 year genetic guarantee.  Genetic problems, however, can show up until the age of 3 years.  Most Alaskan Malamute breeders as well limit their guarantee to crippling hip dysplasia only rather than mild hip dysplasia being included.  If a dog, however, only has mild hip dysplasia when the guarantee expires, at some point after this, the mild hip dysplasia will turn into crippling hip dysplasia.  A 1 year genetic guarantee, and one for crippling hip dysplasia only to be diagnosed before the guarantee expires, is essentially, therefore, worthless, especially since the only official diagnosis for hip dysplasia is through OFA who will only give an official evaluation AFTER the dog turns 2 years old.  And hip dysplasia is hip dysplasia whether it is diagnosed as only mild to start with vs. crippling.  Our guarantee is for 3 years and is not limited to crippling hip dysplasia.  Also, don't be fooled by the claim that hip dysplasia is not genetic but caused by environmental influences.  Hip dysplasia can be hastened along by environmental influences, but not caused by them.  Hip dysplasia is caused solely by genetics, and therefore, each breeder is responsible for a proper guarantee to cover hip dysplasia.  You can verify this by calling OFA at (573) 442-0418.
